Fried Vege Dumplings
 

 

method:

  1. wash baby cabbage and chop, add salt and mix well, set aside for about 15 minutes, ,then squeeze out all water from the cabbage.
  2. chop cilanto, vegetarian ham or marinated dried bean curd.
  3. mix all ingredients of 1 and 2 above well, add sesame, pepper, etc. seasoning and mix thoroughly to become filling of dumplings.
  4. Each dumpling wapper fill with a tbsp of filling and wrap. 600g wapper can make about 50 pcs of dumplings for frying. Alternatively, the dumpling can be boil with soup or water to become dumpling soup.
  5. pre-heat a non-stick frying pan, add 1 tbsp oil, place dumplings in the pan and fry a bit, add about half cup of water and cover with glass lid.
  6. Fry dumplings a bit after the water dry up. Serve.
  7. add fresh orange juice into the soy sauce to become dipping sauce and serve with fried dumplings.

 


 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients

baby cabbage    3 stalks
cilantro        3 stalks
dumpling wappers   600g
vegetarian ham300g (can replaced with dried bean curd))
oil about half cup (for frying dumplings)
water about 1cup (for frying dumplings)

Seasoning

salt about 3 tbsp (marinate cabbage)
sesame oil  about 2 tbsp
pepper about half teaspoon

Dipping Sauce

Soy sauce 3 tbsp
1 Orange (for juice)
